Wow, Im having a nightmare getting my dualshock 3 playstation controller to work with my PC.

I have eveything necessary to use an Xbox 360 controller on my PC, but I really don't like using it. I love my dualshock (specifically for FIFA)

I did get it working a few times, but the DS3 tool software is so buggy its ridiculous.

Does anyone here have their PS3 controller working with their PC? , or am I the only one who prefer's the dualshock over the Xbox controller?

Ok I think I have sorted it using motionjoy but with a less exhaustive way

I found this

I follwed the instructions, but on reboot, I selected "driver manager" and updated the driver.

Reboot again and everything seems to be working really well.

I hope it stays this way!!

Update...

Just remember that everytime you wanna use the controller to play, you have to press F8 to remove driver signature enforcement.

This way when you fully reboot the controller will have its lights on and you are good to go!!!!

Have no problems with Motioninjoy v0.6. a lot more stable for me than the v0.5 which BSOD on me if you disconnected them wrong. Swap between the DS3 and the 360 pad depending on game :p

Off topic, but I wonder what camera he used.. good to see someone using a decent camera before uploading their stuff to Youtube.
