DualShock3 - Worth It?

I just got 2 Sixaxis controllers for £25 brand new. im not going to go for ds3 seems pointless

Even if you don't want rumble (for some inexplicable reason), the extra weight of the DS3 makes it worth it. SIXAXIS pads are so light that it feels like there's nothing in them.

Suppose you could put a few weights inside :p

Really it's the controller that should have been at launch.

I think it's pricey, I think all controllers are pricey nowadays.

Rumble is something I don't really notice when it's there but sorely miss when it's absent :p

Mine arrived this morning. For anyone waiting, you probably already know but they come in blister packaging :(

Set aside an hour for opening and hope that its not faulty because there wont be much left of the packaging.

if you go to that site theres a link for a 30 day trial at lovefilm, if you take it they email you a 20 quid voucher for the site so effectively making the DS3 4 quid!! bargaintastic

I'm doing this after reading you're post.

I was already tempted to just keep the lovefilm subscription going but when I thought about it the two discs at a time plus games subscription is £15 per month - that's £180 a year!!!

I only buy around 4 or 5 console games a year and take ages playing through them so I'm as well just buying them. I'm not really interested in renting crappy games just to get some use out of the subscription.

The site has no DS3's left at the moment but it takes up to 30 days to get the e-voucher anyway.

Excuse my laziness but do you have to abide by a minimum contract length to use the £20 lovefilm voucher?

No, you take out the 30 day trial and add 10 dvds, blu-rays or games to your wanted list. You need to let them send you at least one off of the list and then after that you can cancel your subscription and send it back.

They say they'll email you the voucher 30 days after they send you your first disc. I'll let the trial go 20 days then cancel as I fancy having a go of lego batman and force unleashed before I cancel it.

It seems really easy to cancel as well because there's a cancel contract button on your account page.

I'll be happy with either a ds3 for £4 or Little Big Planet for £15 delivered once I get the voucher.:)

Its a legit offer, i have used it in the past myself. I had to email them after the 30 days but they did send the voucher.

The cancel account button only appears at night however, when they are closed. In the day it makes you call them to cancel.

I have a pair of scissors, you should buy some too.
