Do any of you well travelled people on here know what Dubai is like to visit in May?

We are looking at a family holiday there but can't decide the best time of year to go temperature wise.
The wife wants to go at the end of May but I think it maybe pushing towards too warm.

I know the summer months will be too hot so trying to find a time that we can fit around school holidays.

We went May 2022, it was low 40s everyday. Too hot for me really, plus every metal rail or handle on the outside of buildings should really only be handled if wearing gloves.
 
Do not go in May, April would be better. Things like Global Village close at the end of April for 6 months due to the heat. I was there for a month this April and temperature wise it was perfect.
 
Yeah now onwards is a great time to go for weather. Very much avoid like the plague from May til September unless you're unfortunate enough to live there.
 
As others have said, May can start to get hot, especially during the day. Ideal times are end of October to late April / early May.
 
Ah been wondering when’s best to go Dubai too, cheers for then advice! March/April I think I’ll be going
