Dublin Hostel Recommendations

Heading down south for a day or two as my danish mate is coming over to visit me, was wondering if anyone could recommend a decent hostel, preferably not too expensive and full of people. Drink offers at the bar would be nice also.

Looking at past dublin threads im not filled with confidence that there will be plenty of activities but I am sure we will manage to get sauced in various places, have a few friends down there which sound help matters!

Globetrotters. I have stayed there twice, and it is decent. Breakfast is good considering it is free, and we had difficulty finding one which did a proper cooked breakfast which didn't charge you.

Avoid anything in temple bar unless you are planning a sleep free stay.

I think that might be the point...

All I know is bring some drink from the north as last time I got down to Dublin drink was painfully expensive...

Yeh it still is painfully expensive, hip flask is definitely recommended!
