One for the Ducky rep if he's floating about.

Bought the YOTM at launch (brown switch, number 440/2016) and I see on Ducky Facebook something about PBT key shortage at launch for Ducky shine 6 keyboards. So they released with ABS keys but Ducky will be supplying PBT keycaps FOC. Does this apply to YOTM keyboards and if so how do we go about getting the PBT keycaps?

Also I notice that Ducky aftermarket keycap sets are rarer than rocking horse excrement. Have Ducky stopped making keycap sets? I was rather hoping to replace the keys on my YOTM with white backlit keycaps as the look soooo much better with rgb lighting and the contrast against the keyboard is striking too.

Ducky doesn't make the keycaps at all. They just stamp their logo on them.
All of these keycaps are made from the same factory. iKBC has doubleshot PBT keycap versions of the ones with the same font used on the Shine 5, which are not seamless, but are very high quality and consistent (the Shine 5 had some problems with both consistent legend cutouts and a few with rectangular cuts blocking the legends from behind. So far, the iKBC doubleshot keycaps (white and black) seem to be the best quality, and they will be available on Amazon in about a month.

Some people apparently got PBT doubleshots on their YOTM, but most got ABS doubleshots and quite a few have issues with the rectangular cutouts in the translucent layer blocking the LED's (I do on mine).

If you're talking about the "YOTG" white keycap set, I simply removed the set on my YOTG and put it on my YOTM. I bought a 2nd set when they first came out from mechanicalkeyboards.com but they've been OOS For awhile now.

Yeah Ducky keycaps are stamped iKBC keycaps but they offered the same oem layout. Sadly YOTG won't be an option for me as I missed that boat and was gutted.

Great info about the caps appearing soon on the rainforest btw and thanks for that. I have been doing some rummaging and found a few options for white backlit ISO keycaps (still like a needle in a haystack in 2016 ffs) including one from Tai Hao I'm hoping Overclockers may stock as they already stock some of their caps.
