Ducky Shine 3 Update Firmware Stuck

I just got the YOTS in and I thought I may as well update the firmware on it.

Started the update and the progress bar didnt move. So I thought id leave it on and go out for a bit to do some errands. Come back 2 hours later and its still not done anything.

It says I shouldnt power down or disconnect the board, but there looks like theres no other option. What should I do?

BTW, I am typing on it as we speak. Only the typing works, backlight, hotkeys etc dont.

Even worse. The PC restarted and now I cant even try to update the firmware. Under current version, there is nothing and pressing the OK button to proceed with the firmware update does nothing!

Please dont tell me that the board is screwed on its first day!

Thank god. I unplugged the board and plugged it in again and the backlighting came back on.
Opened up the firmware update again and the firmware seems to have restored. Pressed update and it updated instantly.

Almost had a heart attack!

Hopefully this helps anyone who is in the same boat as me and will fix your problem with updating!

Loving the actual board itself. Very heavy for what it is so its practically stuck to the table thanks to the weight + rubber grips.
Reds are wonderful as well, if youre thinking of getting the board..... do it! Unless, if you dont care for the aluminium front plate, then get a DS3. Wonderful boards!
