And struggling to choose a new mobile.
currently i have an android note 3 still on kitkat

i am not really that impressed with the new galaxy edge and am considering going back to apple and an iphone. Then i saw a m8's windows based phone and it made me think about going over to a windows phone.

what do you guys have now?
what will you get next?
pro's and cons between android apple and windows

Personally not 100% sure about Windows Phones future, MSFT just laid off most of the Nokia staff, their recent app Tossup not even being on Windows phone but out on Android/iOS, no recent flagship, last flagship was the Lumia 930 which is over a year old now. Not a platform I would buy into in its current state.

That leaves you with Android and iOS. I think this depends on what you personally need from a phone. They both mostly do the same things, in similar ways, to similar quality.

What do you want from your next phone, honestly both the Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6 are great choices so not really going to be disappointed with either.

I wouldn't worry too much about not having lollipop, it's really not massively different and once Samsung have destroyed it further with Touchwiz you'll barely see the difference. You could have course try to breath some life into your Note 3 with a custom rom such as CM12.1, flashing them on a Samsung is really very very easy.

i used to jailbreak my past iphones, but i have never done an android and would have no idea where to start i have read a few guides but it still seems rather complex to me, maybe old age is making me apprehensive. i would love to try a custom rom but my gonads are telling me not too
