Due an upgrade this month. Do I move away from the iPhone?

I currently have an iPhone 4S and my contract is due to expire in 2 weeks. My boyfriend has an Android phone (Galaxy S3) and I'm tempted to get an S4. I've noticed the new LG phone looks quite nice but I'm unsure if there is anything else in the pipeline.

I already own a Nexus 7 so the Play account sharing might come in handy.

What would people recommend?

Sounds like you've made your mind up already.

Are you a Mac or PC user at home, do you have a reliance on the iOS ecosystem? Much invested app wise?

Do you just fancy a change, or do you want something specific that the S4 offers over the 5S/C?

If you don't need 32GB+ storage then the Nexus 5 is due soon.

I moved from an iPhone 4s to a Xperia Z1, I'm loving Android. Such a breath of fresh air. The only thing I miss is the way I had everything linked with my macbook. I now use google apps etc for that so It's ok, but not perfect.

I'd say try it, you may like it.

I think I just fancy a change

I can't deny that the iPhone has kept me happy for the past 2 years.

I use a PC at home. The only other piece of Apple tech I have is my iPod (purchased before my phone) which it still use on occasion for gym etc. Never really bought any apps either if I'm honest

I guess the move to Android is gonna happen, I'm just unsure of which phone to choose? :confused:

You should really go to a shop and view some of the flagship models. Unless you have friends with some high end Android phones.

I see you have forgotten the HTC One! It hasn't won that many awards for nothing. IMO, it's the best phone available

You will be able to switch effortlessly across using HTC Sync manager, pulling all of your photo's and music onto it, and it pulls the music straight from iTunes, along with a back up of your iPhone too.
