ok guys, i'm paying £30 for 200x net min & 500 texts a month, my normal bill is between £40 - £70 per month, i wanna get more mins at a lesser rate, anyone had any dealings with them? also wanna get a new phone a good one... my contract is on it's 12 month now,

any advice would be great...

k800 i Is a good start for the phone. I got it free with a tenner off my £25 a month line rental off peak 500

Thought that was a good deal

They'll reduce you're line rental no probs. I'm on the online 200 and i've had mine reduced for the last 2 years by a fiver a year plus the latest handset. I'll be giving them a call in 2 weeks as my 30 day cancellation notice is due.

This time last year i was on the same deal as you, with average monthly payments much like yours, if not a little less. Had been with o2 online (contract) for a year, PAYG for 2yrs before that. Went to retentions, asked to leave, said been offered 500mins/500texts for £15 a month for 12months (hadn't really, but many many pple on the forums last yr did this and succeeded). o2 came back offering 500mins/500texts for £20 a month for 12months and a free SE k750i :)

You should have a lot of bargaining power as your average monthly payments are so high :)

This yr I'm hoping for free k800i, and maybe 600/600 for same price per month (may be pushing my luck though!)

i was on the same contract as you, recently upgraded, was spending £50 average normal was £30, rang them up, they doubled everything, so 400 mins, 1000 texts, along with a free K800, which should have been 59.99 to upgrade lol

When you went to retentions, what did you say?

Try T-Mobile... just got a new contract through them, £180 worth of calls or texts per month for £26.50. Should be £35, but offer price for duration of contract was £26.50.
Works out @ 10pm for calls 24/7 all networks
10p per text
20p per MMS ;)

Basically what i said was, i wasnt happy with my current tarrif, they could see on their end that i was over spending, and i actually said no other phone interests me apart from the K800, so its either that and a better tarrif or i leave, he put me on hold, came back with an offer for a W810i (which i have) said to him, no other phone, means no other phone, on hold again, came back with the above offer, so i said yes.

all the above took 10 mins from start to end, so not bad at all.
