Currently with Orange on Dolphin 25 (I think) and I can claim my renewal from November.
In an ideal world, I'd love an iPhone. However, they're not available on Orange as we all know, I don't want to have to fork out for one off the bay and the hassle of selling the upgrade.
So, this leaves me with 2 options: wait until February for the contract to actually run out and switch to o2 and get an iPhone that way (would go for the £35 tariff)
or
Stick with Orange, can claim my upgrade during November, and get a new phone from them. I'm not sure what the terms are with upgrading, would I have to pay extra for something like the 8gb N95 or the new C905 or would an upgrade be free for anything? I seem to recall a friend telling me that when he took out his initial contract with Orange he could have any Samsung for free or pay £20 for any other branded phone, although this was some time ago.
The lack of Bluetooth and MMS puts me off the iPhone idea too.
