Hello,

today I tried to add a second screen (cheep SHARP one i had knocking around).
My main monitor is linked by a VGA cable.
The second I am using a HDMI.

Graphics card: Radeon HD 5750.

Whenever I plug the HDMI in it does display an image. But the drivers crash and resolve themselves every 10 seconds.

the error code that appears says 'Display driver has stopped working and has recovered)

The drivers are up to date... any suggestions?

(also as soon as i unplug the second monitor it sorts it self out)

Have you tried a DVI or VGA connection to the second screen?

As for the HDMI drivers, if you right click the speaker icon in the notification area of Windows, then click playback devices it should appear as "AMD High Definition Audio Device".

I have tried swapping the cables around (so Main monitor on HDMI and second on VGA) same thing happens, unfortunately the second monitor doesn't have a DVI input and the graphics card doesn't have two VGA outputs.

And yes the HDMI playback does appear and the drivers are up to date!
