Was ok with S4 Milanese loop
Was problematic with S4 Hermes (suspect the weight of the strap was causing it to slightly lift off charger)
Useless with S5 Ceramic with Link bracelet, was on charge all night and woke up to 70% charge this morning.
Ditching it now and looking for alternatives (hence visiting this thread!)
Will let people know what I go for once I've tested a few out.
tbh, for now I've gone back to Apple Desktop Watch charger (the CD looking thing) as it fills the battery in half an hour or so, and a anker wireless upright desktop charger as nothing else looks decent.
For travelling I prefer something with one socket, will keep an eye out.
After having tried about 4 different 3rd party watch chargers, including 2 "MFI Certified" ones (all of which failed to charge my S5, so there's clearly something different with the watch)
I've ended up settling on this Belkin powerbank watch charger
It works brilliantly so far and seems to provide about 3 full charges per "charge". I had considered the watch and phone version but decided against it.
If you're travelling and want something small and handy it could work out well for you.
I liked it because it the phone and watch laid flat and I didn't need to use the Apple Watch charger with it. A single USB cable to charge both. I did have an issue with my case initially but only because it had a metal plate in the back for a car mount. I've since cut a rectangle out of the middle of the metal plate so it wirelessly charges but still sticks to my car mount without an issue.
