Duff ACF7?

Hi there,

My bro has an ACF7 Pro with an E2180. Got it sat at 3.3ghz using 1.37V in BIOS with 1.33V in windows no load & 1.31V load.

Temps are at 76C under Orthos load....? :confused:

Temps idle will not go below 40C....

This is all with the fan on full whack...

Surely these temps are insane?!?

Reseat the heatsink then run orthos again and see if it's still that bad.

Reseat, as in: Remove, and put back on, making sure it's seated correctly and accurately

Done that a couple of times.

Using AS5 and have followed online application thingy.

It wasn't great when I had it for my E6600 but seemed better than it is now...

Trying to convice him to get a new cooler.

Any ideas?

He wants under £30 really and that can be JUST the cooler as I have a 120mm fan I can give him.
