Duke Nukem Demo - got Borderlands GOTY?

Though access to the forthcoming Duke Nukem Forever demo was originally planned to be included for those that purchased the Borderlands Game of the Year Edition, users are finding demo keys linked to their Steam accounts if they had purchased the game before October 12.

Duke Nukem Forever
To check and see if you have a key, find Borderlands in your Steam Library and click the "CD Key" link in the game pane. If you've got the key, it should show up as "Duke Nukem Forever First Access Club Code". It can be redeemed here, though the demo is not yet available.

I just got my key and signed up for it - not available yet, of course.

Nice to see they opened it to all and not just those with the GOTY edition, especially if you had purchased the DLC anyway.

You need to go to http://www.dukenukem.com/access/ to register your "Duke Nukem Forever First Access Club Code.

I thought it was a joke when I saw it mentioned on the steam page for the goty edition! Got my key even though I bought the normal version on sale a while back. Thanks for the heads up.

...I bought the standard ed months ago and I have the dnf key.

Limited access to a demo *facepalm*

Can't understand why they do this. Demo's are meant to give everyone a taste of the game before they buy.

I assume it will be available to all eventually though

Isn't it a bit daft only giving limited access to a demo?

I could understand if it were a BETA or something.. but a demo? :/
surely you'd want as many people feasting their eyes on the duke and his babes!?

Agreed.

It'll be available to all after a few days or so I'd have thought. There will be a lot of people not sure about the game and want to try the demo out first, including me!

Likewise, i love the Duke, but because its been soooo long, im very sceptical(sp) about it.. bring on the demo!

Its an early access thing, the borderlands mob get it a few days before it goes public. And more than likely it will be torrented as soon as its out for the borderlands people.
