Dumb Newb seeks silent PSU advice

Hello

I've got an AMD 64 X2 Dual 3800+, and ATI Radeon X1600. It's an ASUS Vintage ATX case.

I've got a Zalman CPU silent fan that made a significant noise drop, but I'd like to get the psu quiet too.


As it's currently got a 350watt suply, I'm thinking 400-450watts would be overkill, but what advice could you offer ?

Does this ATX 2.0 concern me ? Will it fit into an ATX case ?

I'm happy 450w is over the top - I want a quiet music DAW PC - the graphics card is way more than I need, and only in for dual-head capability.

I've one 250Gb Sata drive, will be getting another shortly and er ... that's my total expansion plans.
