This may sound stupid, it is, but I'm having a brain fart moment here. VDE screwdrivers (the insulated red plastic coated ones for working on live electrical equipment), say nothing about being resistant to static discharge like ESD screwdrivers do, but surely I am correct in thinking that if they are insulated to the point they protect me from 1000v then they are also insulated to the point they can protect a circuit board from me?
Thanks.
Thanks.
