Dummies guide to battlefield?

Does anyone know where you can find a guide to battlefield for a complete novice? The only fps I've really played is borderlands.

I don't even know what the coloured menus are etc on the screen.

Aim and shoot, watch out for people who bunny hop and slide and gun.

Also don't get put off if you constantly miss, it might not be you. There's an issue with hitboxes right now where they don't register a hit.

If you can, find a group of mates to play together as a squad. Random squads will just mean you'll be soloing most of the time so just rack up them kills and get unlocks/attachments for your guns.

The menu has 3 tabs, 1st table is obvious is the play button where you join the game of your selection and try out different game modes. 2nd tab is collection where you can select your loadouts, choose your specialist and modify your weapons. 3rd time is waste of time and money, ignore it.

What is the aim though? Where do you have to try and get too? What are the different letters for on the navigation?

Depends on the mode. In Conquest you have to capture and hold A, B, C etc. in other modes you either have to attack or defend those letters depending on which team you’re on.

If we’re talking 2042 there is a tutorial above each mode explaining what you have to do.
