just remebered, I was gonna do the old CPU shuffle this week but didn't get around to it.
see, I've got a barton 2500 in a MSI board here, 0 overclock, and a 1700 in a Abit NF7-s V2.
you see my issue?
so that meens that some point I'm gonna have ANOTHER 3200 on a NF7-s V2, and a 1700 in a MSI board.
wonder what that will do to my PPD. (not much, but as we say every little helps, ohhh, maybe I should start using those 486s too!!)

I have just checked Fahmon and as of now (2:43pm GMT) I have about 1456 to dump in the next 24 hours

I would imagine that PPW rather than PPD would be better for the 486s

Well, a 450MHz P3 can muster 24 PPD, so take it from there.

Would be interesting to try one of these new 364 pointers on them though. I may just do that tomorrow.

I do think that there may be a major processing gulf between a P3 and a 486. Didn't 486s need a math coprocessor to do heavy calcs?
