What's the deal with this? Is it a cult classic or just awful? It seems to have been absolutely slated upon release!

I did give a try a few years back but I fell asleep! Is it worth a go?

After the first couple of comments I stopped by my mums to borrow her DVD.

I'm still trying to figure out exactly what the hell went on, it was epic to look at much like Blade Runner but the story just seemed overly confusing.
