Is there anyway to increase the resolution from 800x600 on DK2? running in Windows 7 x64.

Had to disable hardware accelerated graphics for the game to run.

sorry dont know, to add could you please post specs so people will have a better idea to answering your question.

find out from you desktop what your max screen resolution is set to, set it to that ,
then when you run the game set the in game resolution to run at that
max resolution.
PS the higher the screen resolution the more it tasks"WORKS" the gpu and cpu.

The latest patch gets it to 1024x768. I don't think I've had it running any higher than that sadly - cracking game though!

It's the fact that it's a really old game and he doesn't have the option to change the res..

use the patch that m4cc45 suggests

Yea, one of my favorite games! Used to always crash on xp but windows 7 seems to be running it perfectly except for the low res :X

yes you can edit the registry to make it as high as you like.
regedit>software>bullfrog>dungeoon keeper II> configuration>video

Change screen height to your desired hight, and screen width to your desired width.

But remember change the base to DECIMAL!!!

think it only works after the 1.7 patch too.

Press Alt + R to switch into and out of High Resolution Mode ;)
That's the original DK :p.

As Tefal said, it can be edited in the registry. I had all sorts of problems getting it to work at over 1280x1024 though, and the UI gets messed up with widescreen resolutions.
