Dungeon Seige 2 co-op

Can you play DS2 over a LAN using just one copy of the game? In the original you could, as well as many other RPG's, but some others don't as you need a unique CD-Key even for LAN use (NWN, for example). I don't intend to play over the net, just some co-op action with the missus
