Dungeon seige 2 networked

Does anyone know if it is possible to play a network game (2 player) of dungeon seige 2 with only 1 copy of the game?

Or Scared for that matter... Or any diablo2 esk games we could play while our internet is down....

Dioablo2 iam sure you could, there were 3cds werent there?
for some reason I just remember about Xwing vs Tie Fighter with two cds, 1 being for the 2nd person.. heh

DiabloII definitely. Sacred I'm pretty sure works too. DS2 I'm not sure - we found it going very cheap so just bought two copies. The only RPG I've found that doesn't work easily with just one copy was NWN - you couldn't share a CD Key on a network game.

I'm fairly sure Dungeon Siege 2 works fine with just 1 copy of the game, but only on a LAN - and I mean only a physical LAN, coz its has issues with virtual LAN's like Hamachi!!!!
Titan Quest is a good alternative if you want that type of game!

I managed to pickup a couple of pre-owned copies of sacred for £5 in town today, then I get home from work to find the internet has been fixed and the misses is back on World or Warcraft!

I think you need to disconnect from the net, and it will "bypass auth".
