What are peoples thoughts of this game?

I loved the first game, but i never managed/bothered to finish the 2nd
 
I completed the first game single player (I think) and also completed it multiplayer but I couldn't get into the second one for some reason, found it a bit boring to be honest.
 
I loved DS1, and kept playing it to find the rarer armour sets.

Tried the demo DS2 and enjoyed it so bought the full game. Soon got bored of it, even though I managed to play it to completion just to see the ending. Guessing my gaming preference changed, and the fact the NPC members were liabilities. And it soon becomes very repetitive.

Strangely enough I just reinstalled this on Saturday and its quite fun to play again. Voice acting is a bit dodgy and the constant to-ing and fro-ing to the same places is a bit annoying but all in all i'm enjoying running through it again.

Can't quite work out the save game system though ... :confused: You ask it to save (ctrl-s) and it doesn't seem too, only seems to save properly when you complete a quest. Or, of course, I could be being stupid ... :D

Explaining why a three letter word gets starred out is hardly pointless.

Anyway back on topic, best way is to just play it for yourself and see how you get on :) but from what I remember general concensus was that it just felt 'different' to DS1. Of course you may like it!
