7 day free trial, 1.7GB download, says north america only, anyone from our side of the pond get the trial working okay?

working fine for me, only just started so i'll hold my comments for the moment. payment and location might be an issue if anyone wants to play past the 7 days but it'll give you an opportunity to play before laying out for the full UK version alternatively.

combat seems a bit different from some other mmorpgs ive played, you actually fire your (in my case) bow by right clicking, shift is used as block and when blocking u can leap/roll out the way to avoid attacks. has an autoattack feature if you don't like that tho.

runs pretty well and looks fairly nice so far, i'm a bit clueless on the D&D stuff so lot to take in, esp. as i'm trying to watch the arsenal/spurs match at the moment, heh. gonna give it a going over this afternoon. gotta say it feels a bit like guildwars at the moment, well it has that graphical style i think.

also, only took me an hour to download the 1.7gb client (telewest 4mb).

Really had high hopes for this but with everything instanced just doesnt really feel like a mmorpg to me , guild wars is better and has pvp and no monthly cost !!

gah whats the point in paying for a MORPG if you don't get to play with other people!

you can group up but its all instanced

Been playing for a few hours and i'm not very impressed to be honest... hack and slash with boring quests... shame, it looked pretty good too...

gotta say i feel the same reezer, tried to like it but rather dull and combat feels like a chore. shame though, given the D&D universe it could have been brilliant.

Was looking forward to this when it was announced but judging by peoples reaction who where in the beta I think I'll give it a miss.

Ive tried playing this but for some reason the game wont even play, keep getting the service was unreachable check proxy firewall, done all that but thing still wont load.

Figured out what was wrong, been playing till just now on the argonessen server, char called daishan so if anyon is on when im on send a tell maybe we can group up (im a lvl 2 cleric now)
