Dungeons - The Dark Lord

A new trailer from Dungeons - The Dark Lord shows off gameplay from Kalypso Media's upcoming strategy/simulation sequel. Word is: "The new trailer features story elements and gameplay from the game where players will be tasked to capture heroes and steal their precious soul energy, all while building bigger and better dungeons to plot the downfall of those who would dare oppose you." The clip concludes saying the game is coming in September, and the note Kalypso sent with the clip specifies that the game will be released for Windows PCs on September 27. Here's the embedded clip. This is a revelation to me, I thought this all ended with Dungeon Keeper, need to pick up a copy of Dungeons and see how it compares.

Compares?, i thought it sucked and not a patch on DK. It's very repetitive and you actually have to let the bad guys steal your gold to win

That sounds confusing. I still play DK somethimes, there needs to be another one!

Agreed, very disappointed with Dungeons. Can't believe I was actually hoping for a worthy successor to DK

Damn, my friend (A big DK fan) tried the demo today, says he's not convinced. Ah well.
