Me and my friend have recently made the transition to PC gaming and we've enjoyed playing some duo games, that we can play through co-operatively together.

We've completed magicka (And a few of the DLCs) and we're at level 35 or so in RIFT (Wow-like mmorpg).

Anything you can suggest? Genre isn't really important, we just need some ideas!

Thanks :D

Resi 5 is quite fun with a friend,
Dawn of War series?
L4d
Lost Planet 2 i thought was pretty good with friends
Serious Sam 3 is AWESOME

Although I havent played it yet, Fable 3 is Co-oop. Worth a shot?

What about games such as Titans Quest and Diablo 2?

As treebiter says, Lara Croft GoL is a cracking 2 player game.
As are;
Titan Quest
Saints Row the Third
Dead Rising 2
Portal 2 (Wont have the length of the others)
Terraria
Minecraft
Dead Island
Alien Swarm (free on steam).

Should keep you busy for a while.

There are loads of games you can play co-op.

MMO: Wow,rift, swtor, guild wars (more of a co-op rpg then mmo), lotro.

FPS: Serious sam 1,2,3 Borderlands, cod, bf3, Portal 2, L4d 1,2.

DOTA: LoL, Hon.

Stratagy: Starcraft 2, Watcraft 3, Civ 5, total war shogun 2, loads of warhammer games,

RPG: Titan Quest, Diablo 2, Dungeon siege 3, Dungeon defenders, Magika, Fable 3, Spiral Knights,

You can also type co-op in steam and it will show you what games are co-op.

Also this website is pretty good. www.co-optimus.com

Another shout for Lara Croft GoL.

Borderlands is much better with a mate than on your own.

Half Life 2 can be played co op using Synergy.
I believe that Bulletstorm has a co op mode and Rage has too. But I don't think either allow you to play the campaign co op.

Games I play with the missus split screen on PS3, applicable to this too I think:

Borderlands
Resident Evil 5

and hear Portal 2 should be fun.

Pure PC games Diablo 2 is actually still quite a lot of fun.

Friend and I have been playing Dead Island Co-op. We have had a fair few moments where one of us has done something and its left us cracking up (driving of a cliff in a jeep and landing directly onto a zombie being one memorable one!). Would definately recommend it.

Borderlands is also great co-op but a bit dull solo.
