Hello everyone,
I've gotten this problem since I started using Vista Home Premium 64bit.
I connect to the internet via a router and for some reason Vista simply doesn't connect and ends up having two connections which don't work (they can't work because they both exist causing some kind of block.) If i attempt to remove one of them then they both get removed. :/
It might be worth noting that I have an Asrock 939-DUAL SATA 2 motherboard, which doesn't have any supporting LAN drivers available, but when I first installed and booted a few times with vista the connection worked fine without me needing to do anything to it.
Currently however, I'm having to use command prompt and use the following lines in order to get connectivity:
ipconfig/all
route delete 0.0.0.0
ipconfig/renew
After i've put that in it works fine, but I have to do it everytime I logon which is pretty annoying.
I'm wondering whether its something to do with my router/network configuration or simply that my motherboard isn't really compatible with vista due to lack of compatible drivers. If anyone could help me who has maybe had a similar problem or not it would be great.
Thanks in advance
Sam
