Duplicate file finder? (Windows 10)

Does Windows 10, have a duplicate file finder hidden away somewhere, or is it a case of finding a free app somewhere?

do you know anything about the duplicates at all?
Eg Folder/File name/ file type?

Cheers, I was actually looking at that a little earlier. I just wondered whether I was missing a trick with windows.

I'm just shifting a load of files from my desktop to a laptop. There's quite a bit and I'm sure I've got some of it duplicated in various folders.

Pretty sure CCleaner has a duplicate file finder.

Not built into Windows but if you want a really fast/basic one Everything (free) has duplicate searching by name/size. For anything that needs more accurate searching (i.e. by file hash) by far the best one I've used is Duplicate File Detective, has a 15 day fully-functional trial too.

Directory Opus has one built in (to the Pro version anyway, no sure about the Light one) plus has a 60 day trial... after which I could almost promise you'll buy it anyway, though it's not cheap.
