Duplicated Files remover software

Are these software safe?? As I have trailed one from Macpaw and it found 67GB worth ouch

But where do we start which software is best and safe?

Just done a little test on a small folder and NO NO not touching such software....

Pictures wise it no good if using software like aperture...

Gemini is pretty good but you would be silly to blindly delete without reviewing the duplicates it finds or at the very least having a very robust set of filters setup.

In what way you mean by filter setup?

I'm sure there's an automator workflow using spotlight that does this. I try finding it.

EDIT: google skills are weak at the moment, will try again tomorrow.
