In pure brilliant white for hallway and probably all the rooms tbh as I have a toddler and need something durable. I've just done the bathrooms in Dulux Easycare Bathroom paint and that's a lovely finish, it has a very slight glow.

What do you guys recommend as a decent durable and washable matt finish paint?

I'm looking at Dulux Diamond Matt, Johnstone's Acrylic Durable Matt etc, are they actually any good?

We tried a satin and silk and don't like the shine, really want to stick with a matt finish if we can.

Any thoughts and options would be great, cheers!

I’ve put diamond Matt on the walls and ceiling of my hallways , had no problems with it so far

Cheers for the replies chaps, @mOdO is that also the Diamond Matt you have or is it the Easycare Matt (yellow tin)? As that is pretty much exactly why we want it to be washable. :)

I used Crown clean extreme scrubbable matt and I was really impressed. Lovely coverage and strong.

I'm trying to persuade Mrs Garnett to go for institutional high gloss. For from the floor up to about 1m.

Our demon children are going to destroy anything else.

whatever you use don't try one of the dulex paints that goes on pink and dries white lol..

they give the worst possible finish in my experience almost like weird chalk when you brush against it
