Dust on glasses. EPIC RAGE

A bit of spittle and a quick wipe with a snot rag works a treat.

I got glasses recently and I'm having such an annoying problem. There's specs of dust on the lenses and I can see them in my vision. I've tried wiping them with the cloth Specsavers gave me, I put my own microfibre cloth across them and I just can't shift the specs of dust.

Is it safe to run them under cold water?

I was like you when I first got glasses, TBH I dont notice it anymore. I now just breath on them, wipe with kitchen role then blow any bits off. simples!

When I wore glasses I'd clean them by first running them under a warm tap, then applying Fairy washing up liquid, then very gently, using the liquid as a cushion, rub the lenses with your fingertip. You can then dry them by blowing sharply across the plane of the lens so you don't end up with water marks. I've never found a better way to clean glasses frankly, perfect every time and no risk of scratches.

Anyone know how to get rid of the scum between the the lens and frame.... its a right sod to get rid of!

Washing them in the shower in the morning then during the day using the bottom of my shirt does just fine for me.
