I have always used compressed air canisters for cleaning and usually buy the ones OcUK sells.

I am selling some kit at the moment and in order to clean I popped out the compressed air. I ran out and ended up buying a replacement in a high street stationary chain. (The big nationwide one that doesn't have shops in train stations)

This compressed air seems to leave a damp residue if I spray for a couple of seconds so I am loathe to use it on any tech stuff. I used on the table first of all. Am I imagining things? Is it just condensation from the air? If it is does that make it safe?

I've had that, I think it's the propellant gas condensing back to liquid if you spray for too long. I covered my graphics card wit hit and had a minor panic, but it evaporated pretty quickly and didn't do any harm.

I gave up on cans though, I was spending a fortune, I use an electric pump for a paddling pool now, works a treat and doesn't run out, but it's noisy .

I use an airbed pump. Works a treat and cheaper than buying compressed air all the time.

That, or cheat and use a compressor and a cheap airbrush :) (I use a rubbish airbrush specifically for dusting models before spraying, and it works for PC cases as well).
