Duvet all year round?

10.5 for summer? Yikes. I’d melt in May let alone July….

We still have the 3.5 on and short PJs. Swap over day is coming up in a few weeks we only go up to the 10 for 3/4 months.

I mean sure a 10.5 is warm for summer but then in hot weather I wouldn’t use a duvet anyway.

You actually sleep better when your cooler, so better to have a cooler duvet rather than a warmer one.
yes - thought you needed to be able to cool the body initially
... it's in the early hours with heating (still off) where you can half rouse because air temp has dropped that you notice if duvet is inadequate

seems like a home assistant project - bed temperature monitor.

thread probably need full disclosure on any bedtime attire to decide on duvet needed - if people are in full length flanelette pj's then maybe they can survive without even sheet
although even it hotter climates you still need a sheet as final mosquito barrier.
Ulvang bed socks for winter win, though.

I use a Night owl coverless duvet 4.5 Tog all year round - wife uses a 4.5 tog and switches to the 10.5 tog in winter.

No fooling about with covers when they are washed, we even take them on holiday with us, holiday cottages in the UK only.

We both use single duvet on a kingsize bed.

Are these not a pain in the butt to wash and dry in time for bed time, regularly enough so that they're not gross?
