Hi,
I have been toying with the idea of using a DVB-S card to access the freesat service but I have a few questions.
1) I have read that linux doesnt support DVB-S2 cards but that doesn't matter as ALL the freesat channels (incl. Hd ones) are DVB-S. Is this true?
2) Can anyone recommend a cheaply priced card which will work properly under Ubuntu?
3) I know that regular FTA satellite services have a "now and next" epg, but that freesat has a 8-day epg. Which will I be able to get?
4) Would i be able to record and timeshift SD and HD content?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
