I've got a copy of our wedding DVD on my hdd. I've spoken to the bloke that filmed it and he has ok'd me doing this (plus it helps I've worked with him).
The file is a 5kb MDS file, then there is a 4GB i00 file and a 90MB i01 file.
I've mounted the copy into Daemon tools and it plays fine.
I want to convert it to a file I can edit as a valentines thing, I started it with VLC about 2 hours ago, saving it as a mpeg-4 movie. It's currently sitting at just over 8gb in size, double the size of the DVD.
Surely this isn't right? Anyone any suggestions on the best way to do this?
