All of a sudden, every time I open either of my DVD drives to
remove a CD or DVD, I get an error saying "corel10 monitor.exe-no disk".

The drives both seem to work ok so I'm not sure why I'm getting this
message.
It gives me 3 options: Cancel, try again, or continue. When I pick one of
those options, nothing happens the first time around. On the 2nd click it closes the error box
I am using XP home.... I have tried to google the error but havnt really found anything, I was hopping someone on the boards might have an answer.....

Thnx....

Corel10 monitor sounds like a bit of software for monitoring image and video data sources.

Go to MSCONFIG.EXE and see if it's in there, if it is, untick it. You don't need it.

do you have paint shop pro installed, with vista?
seems a vista update causes this bug.
go to your task manager and kill corell0monitor.exe then try inserting/removing a cd/dvd

Sounds like its something to do with corel draw? Try taking it out of msconfig, if its not there use HiJack This to get rid of it. If still no joy try uninstalling corel and see if that sorts the problem out
