DVD drive not appearing in Nero.

I have a Pioneer DVD RW 111d (latest firmware 1.29) that does not appear in the drives list in NERO 5.5.10.0.

I've tried uninstalling the drive and reinstalling; removing the IDE drive and re-detecting; reinstalling nero.

I cannot find info on the net - any pointers please?

Your version of Nero is too old to recognize the drive. I still have nero 5.5.10.56 installed with a pioneer 109 and it works fine but I suspect your newer drive is not supported on such an old release of nero.
