dvd driver not recognised HELP!

[need a pc]

Put together a pc just under two months ago. All brand new parts from overclockers. Running Windows 7. Now the dvd driver is not recognised. Whenever I try to access it there's a 'insert disc' message.

Been through all sorts.
Reg edit
Deleted high and low things
Done Bios....run non signature.
Updated all drivers (says all working fine but not)
Deleted itunes, quicktime etc.

Any ideas people?

Tried many known working disks? Tried a lens cleaning kit? DVD drives are pretty much disposable items these days, could be just faulty (quite likely). Have a chat with OCUK support via the support forum
