What are the best programs out there for editing film. By this I mean is there any software that I can use to capture clips from my DVD drive, I have tried several freeware ones but they entail me having to cnvertthe whole DVD to .AVI or other related formats. I only need something that allows me to capture small pieces of film from DVD so I can export them to other programs (for Uni work). The clips would have to be of a good quality.
