DVD Encoder issues

Hi all,

Trying to play a DVD on my mums laptop (Toshiba Satellite Pro A10) and its coming up with the following error :

Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because a compatible DVD encoder is not installed on this computer

Its just had a fresh install of XP Pro, as far as im aware all the drivers have been installed including the dvd-ram driver. Ive had a look on theor site and found nothing.

Can anyone help?

Its not just this DVD either, its every one i try!

Trying to play a DVD to watch? You'll need a decoder for the DVD. Yeah the install of Windows will have drivers for the DVD drive but not a decoder for the DVDs you want to watch. Get a codec pack like http://www.cccp-project.net/ or download VLC.
