DVD Handycam - Editing Software

Can someone advise a suitable program that is capable of simply cuttings bit of the video file away that I don't require.

Anyone know of something, I can find somat for mpegs but not dvd files.

DVD files ie VOB's are MPEG-2 files for all intents and purposes.

You should be able to use software such as VirtualDub MPEG to edit them, although I favour software by Womble called MPEGWizard as it is quick and has mucho editing features (transitions and the like).
