DVD player/WMP DVD playback

Howdy

I'm at work on nights and forgot my portable DVD player. I brought the DVDs though.

I have a DVD drive in my machine and WMP 10. I can't install anything on the machine, but I can run software that doesn't require an install. Any bright ideas?

I honestly thought WMP10 provided DVD playback :/

Surely you can install a codec on the machine so WMP can play DVD's. Try the Dscaler MPEG2 codec. Should work fine.

Otherwise isn't Media Player Classic a standalone app? that should play them.

grab the zip versions of either mpc or vlc.

As marc2003 says, VLC would be the way to go

A huge number of codec's installed by default, it can do ....(dont quote me) ...anything

WMP10 should play DVDs, play menu then DVD/VCD/CDA

Isn't there a ZIP version where you just unpack the ZIP file and run it? No need to install? http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html

Media Player Classic can be got as an .exe app only, should work, I use it for DVD's
