DVD-RAM drive randomly ejecting.

We have an oldish Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo Mobile V5535 that lives by the sofa, the missis uses it all the time just for web surfing, IM, etc.

The DVD drive is possessed however, it will randomly open all the time. And if you leave a CD/DVD in there it will also randomly spin up and start playing?

Any ideas?

Device Manager reports the drive as being a TSSTCorp CDDVDW TS-L632H

A relatively common fault, if it does it in the bios you can elimate software problems. new drive time if it still does it.
