Hi.

I'm looking for some DVD Region Free software that I can install on my Windows XP PC at work that doesn't require Admin Rights or is free so that I can get one of the IT guys to install it for me.

I use DVD Region+CSS Free at home which is great and I use to use DVD Genie, but that just went weird on anything above Windows ME.

Any help would be great.

Thanks.

M

Sorry to drag up such an old post, but does anyone know if VLC Player works on Vista 64? Or if not, do you know of any other region free dvd player that will run on Vista?

I just found an RC1 firmware for my drive and grabbed a copy of 'DVD Region Killer' not sure if you need Admin rites.. but it'll work with ANY/ALL playback software!!..

Is there a vista 64 specific version of VLC, or are you guys just using the win32 version? I've installed that one and Vista doesn't like it at all!?! It was quite slow to load up, then when i tried to turn it off it crashed, taking bits of the task bar with it lol!?! Wouldn't refresh either, so i had to re-boot the damn thing..
