DVD ripper

After something to rip a DVD a friend has made to my PC where I will be converting for people to view on the web.

At the moment there is a VIDEO_TS folder with some VOB files.

Whats the best thing to rip these and convert?

I use DVD shrink to Rip my scrubs collection to my laptop

dvd decrypter (set it to IFO mode) and set the file splitting to -none- in the ifo options

select the 'episode' from the dvd -each video on the dvd will show up seperatly

then use autogk to convert it to an xvid avi (this program is really simple)

No need to use DVDshrink unless your frined has encrypted the DVD.

winavi will convert VOBs to format suitable for the web.

dont be ripping your comercial dvd's as some peopel do, it's against the law
