dvd size

So i am trying 2 design a dvd and i actually need the size of the DVD, so not the box but the actual dvd. I found this link but not sure if its right, can anyone let me know Thanks

You have no disc at all, CD or DVD in your house and no tape measure or rule in your house?

i have the dvd but i cant find a god dam ruler lol

You should be able to find templates for the likes of Illustrator and Photoshop pretty easily to create DVDs. Plus if you buy the printer paper that comes as DVD covering stickers, they usually have a CD or web link to the template.

its 12cm @ 300dpi

depending on how / where you are going to print it design it so it covers the entire disc face

(use the template so you see the whole when you design it ,but when you save it remove the template layer)

Just do any large square and when printing it'll be shrunk to fit anyway?

yes, if it is bigger it will be shrunk to fit..
