I'm about to get a new TV with this I'll have to throw out a wooden cabinet my current TV sits on as it's too small to take the new one, it currently has a lot of DVDs in it (about 50) and I have 3 x 30 DVD tower storage units near I want to ditch.

I'm tempted to throw out the cases and just keep the DVDs themselves in a mahoosive wallet or two, anyone else doing this? It just dawned on me that it makes my livingroom look really cluttered and it's not like I'm going to sell any of them onto someone else anyway..

Unless someone has a very cool storage unit that can take 160+ DVDs :p

Ideas?!

Why don't you put the cases in a big box in the attic or something?

I have way more than 200 videos and DVDs in a shelving unit in a corner of the room

I went out and bought a big bookcase that was 2 dvds deep. It's around 50 boxes wide and has 3 shelves. It cost me £20 from a high street store and seems pretty sturdy (only one shelf full so far). I prefer to have my dvds in boxes and this way I can keep my all the box sets together. I'd definately recommend just looking for a bookcase.
