DVD to .avi

Guys,

I know this has probably been asked a million times before, but I need a single (free if poss?) app that will allow me to rip a whole (or possibly just selectable chapters?) DVD. I used to use something back when I was at school but I can't remember what it was? It also gave you the option of which format you wanted it exported to, which was nice

Ok, what options should be selected using Handbrake so the format is PS3 compatible? I don't have the mobile options available.

Danke. Do I need to change the framerate, or leave it a "Same as source"?

Set to 29.97 and giving it a go now.

Edit: Nope. Didn't work. Not sure if it was the framerate. Trying to stream to the PS3 gave me "The data is corrupted".

Back to square one.
