Can anyone recommend a DVD player which does/has HDMI and DIVX files. Seen a few but looking to spend little as possible. Only has to do 720p.

Seen a few SumVision but never heard of them, any good?

Also a sony one from Argos which is £70 looks quite nice - DVPNS708HB

Cheers!

Edit : Price wise upto £60 ideally otherwise will just stick with noisy 360

Any websites that sell it?

Can only find US or 1 month+lead time.

Lastly tried a few reviews and just wondering does it do Divx via USB?

sumvisions are cheap, dvd rom is flippin horrid with old dvd-r and dvd+rw The remote is pretty naff but it works. The unit does have "proper" aspect ratio functions, a must , a lot of divx player just fill yer screen no matter wot the aspect ratio of the xvid/divx is. DVD video playback is unaffected by aspect ratio problems . Use a decent usb stick, and play avi files from that. Hdmi upscaler isnt impressive, but it works. Good unit for 30 odd notes.

Local supermarket has some Onn make players for £30. Will do all that you need and reviews seem ok.

"Just been and bought one of these and I am well impressed with the picture quality in both Scart RGB and HDMI.
Played a few DIVX films and they all worked perfectly. I tried a Divx film off a 8mb Usb stick and played without problem. Multi Region out of the box and played Region 1 without problems.
Looks nice, very slim and black got to be the best bargain for a while"
