DVD Wont play

My Mum has just rung and said DVD wont play on here PC and it asking for codex or somthing like that. She got media player the latest version installed and say it still wont play her DVDs What should I do and how can i correct this?

I think WMP doesn't have a DVD codec pre-installed. Try CCCP if you want a codec pack or VLC for a new media playing app. Will play DVDs no problems.

If you want codec pack recommendations, I suggest you just search "dvd codec" or similar on the forums and see what you get.

Rather than a codec pack, just get her to install DScaler. Why potentially create problems by installing a codec pack, eh?

Also try DivX it downloads a good codec pack with it and installed it on loads of machines, no problems ever!
